Sometimes, we need a break to be away from where we are…
I had a cat before. Every time when I returned from a trip, he would bite me on the fingers. This was his way of saying “I miss you”.

My Wandering Heart

Only a little remains for this summer. I miss rain and the raining sky. I wrote this poem to remember this summer… 8.24.2021

Lately, have been working hard and busy at work. Very limited human interactions these days.
We are getting lonelier and lonelier. Only if someone out there who understands us, it is not too bad after all.

Want / Wish
I don’t show my feelings for fear of you might take it lightly
Standing before you, like a dandelion blowing in the wind
Running to you or running away from you

Poem: Thorn Tree

Many of us carry our thorns within to stop others getting closer. I am thankful and sorry for those who have loved me and got hurt. For those are the spring rains to me, hope I can be the same for them and we will see the flowers together someday.

Compared to mid-night calls, I receive more morning calls. The reason could be I am at my softest at these hours. With eyes closed, the voices seem to be especially nice and very touching.

This poem was written after listening to the lullaby from Kim Jinho at 3am Korean time. (The lullaby – Love). It was a sweet phone call at dawn.
